Dr. Judd E. Cummings is a Board Certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in musculoskeletal tumors, adult and pediatric limb salvage surgery, and joint replacements.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Cummings attended college at Brigham Young University and medical school at Creighton University. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN before returning to Salt Lake City to complete a Musculoskeletal Oncology fellowship at the University of Utah / Huntsman Cancer Center. Dr. Cummings most recently has practiced for several years in Indiana serving as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery within the IU School of Medicine.
His research interests include utilization of large structural allografts, the use of compliant fixation for mega-endoprothestics, and development of novel therapeutic strategies for malignant bone tumors. He is the author of multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and presentations. Dr. Cummings’ clinical expertise include the diagnosis and management of primary or metastatic bone and soft tissue tumors or tumor-like conditions and major joint or limb reconstruction.
